Michelle enjoys helping companies and organizations increase the well-being of employees and promote a positive work culture. She will work with you to design programs that meet your organization’s specific goals. Michelle currently teaches meditation and chair yoga online to employees around the country.
Classes include guided meditation and group discussion or Q&A. The following are just some of the possibilities:
Introduction to Mindfulness
Learn how mindful awareness counteracts stress, enriches everyday experiences, and improves focus and creativity. Mindful movement (gentle or chair yoga) is optional. Offered as a presentation, workshop, or 8-week course.
The Science of Mindfulness
In this presentation, learn about the Stress Response, the harmful effects of chronic stress, and how a regular mindfulness practice promotes physical and mental well-being. Longer presentations delve into ways that mindfulness can “rewire” the brain for lasting happiness.
Mindfulness in Daily Life
Everything is better with mindfulness! Go beyond theory in experiential workshops that give participants practical tools for improving the quality of their lives and relationships. Participants will explore ways to apply what they learn to work, communication, and everyday activities.
Mindfulness for Resilience
Life seems to be getting more complicated and demanding all the time. Learn strategies for reducing stress, preventing burnout, and staying calm, creative, and productive in difficult times.
Mindful Yoga Break
One of the most effective ways to reduce stress and increase positivity is to combine movement, awareness, and deep breathing. Yoga integrates all three, with the added benefit of improving balance, strength, and flexibility. Currently offering chair yoga online.
